Squadron Burgee Heraldry: The Saugatuck River burgee consists of a blue figure on a white field. The figure represents the traditional minuteman, on one knee, with musket at the ready. The three stars, also in blue, represent the three communities that make up the Saugatuck River Power Squadron - Saugatuck, Westport and Weston, Connecticut. The gold border signifies that the squadron has served the boating community for over 50 years.
